Make the space inside work harder.
An insert needs to account for the product’s centre of gravity, vulnerable areas, dimensional tolerances and removal. A single front photograph is insufficient to confirm a fitment. Supply drawings or samples and allow for finger access and box closure. Die-cut paperboard and moulded pulp are different manufacturing approaches; this page concerns paperboard and corrugated fitment enquiries, with processes confirmed individually.

Information that affects a quotation
What to clarify before a quotation.
Provide drawings, internal box space, positioning and access requirements. Confirm die-cutting, samples, printing and testing in the quotation scope.
Include your estimated quantity, artwork, preferred date and delivery location. Materials, samples, minimum order quantities, production timing and transport arrangements need individual confirmation. A requested date is not a confirmed delivery commitment.

Are cardboard inserts the same as moulded pulp inserts?
No. Die-cut folded board and moulded pulp use different manufacturing approaches. Share a reference or sample and confirm the required material and process.
Is a physical product sample required for an insert?
Drawings and photographs can start an enquiry. Complex, fragile or tolerance-sensitive products should have sampling and trial-fit arrangements discussed.
Can a cardboard insert replace foam?
Some packs can be assessed for a paper-based alternative. Suitability depends on the product, shock and vibration requirements and complete-pack testing; shape alone is insufficient.
